Lore: "In this AU, Nyanko created Sprunki in 1985 for Nintendo, specifically the NES. Nintendo eventually cancelled production of the game due to a lack of interest in the 'disguised horror' trope at that time. This mod is supposed to emulate the game in HTML form, now modded to add mouse controls instead of the controls of a conventional NES controller.
